Darlow Water is stocked with Rainbow and Brown Trout. Catch and release is encouraged, all Brown's must be returned.
Darlow Water is a former gravel pit of 25 acres. It has been landscaped and nurtured since 1987 by successive committees and members work parties. It is now a beautiful setting to enjoy a spot of fishing. The water is crystal clear and insect hatches are good. There are big early season buzzer hatches, a significant Mayfly hatch and a spectacular Damsel population that appears from late May.
It is fly fishing only. Fishing is from the bank, or by one of the clubs boats, or your own float tube.
The season is 14 March to 31st December.
