The latest water quality measurements taken today all look normal and the temperature is now well below 10 °C. There is perhaps a slight increase in phosphates, but very small, and should not be a major issue at this time of year because of the low temperature suppressing any weed and algal growth.

Ammonia levels have fallen back down since last month, and the water is nice and clear, which is most likely due to the flocculating effects of the recent chalking. All good news!!
