Darlow Water is an established ex-gravel pit fishery stocked with rainbow, brown and Sparctic trout. The lake also holds self-sustaining stocks of perch, pike and tench that are also caught on the fly. Darlow Water offers bank and boat fishing in a very pleasant natural environment.
Farmoor Fly Fishing Club also controls 300 metres of the River Windrush that meanders adjacent to Darlow Water. Despite the recent, and well-known problems with river water quality due to pollution, the River Windrush holds wild brown trout and coarse fish, such as chub, that can also be caught on the fly.
