This week’s water testing has shown that ammonia levels are continuing to increase (0.35 mg/L at pH 7.8). Oxygen levels are similar to last week (6.5 mg/L, 60.4 % sat. at 12.5 °C). Water clarity is appearing to improve as the suspended material falls to the lake bed.

Increasing level of ammonia is likely to be a result of the continued breakdown of plant material (including algae).
